Sunday, December 13, 2009 - Golden yellow color, seemingly with a drop of orange/brown. Early nose is sweet and rubbery, showing notes of Golden Delicious apple, lemon-lime zest, and wildflowers. Late nose is bright and volatile with a wet slate component. Palate has good viscosity, almost oily in mouthfeel, which yields a sort of lemon oil quality, followed by a refreshing blast of acidity.
