Wednesday, October 4, 2023 - Visits in the Wachau and Kamptal; 10/4/2023-10/5/2023 (In and around the Wachau and Kamptal, Lower Austria): The nose is deep and succulent right away as it shows off layered tones of lemon drop, nectarines, peaches, cinnamon, yellow flowers, stone fruits, mineral notes, crushed rocks, fresh herbs, and a touch of white pepper. This is a nose you can easily get lost in. There is so much going on that it does take a little bit to really get it all. The Full bodied feel is plush and polished with racy, high acidity. This is a sexy beast. There is a ton going on and it is all showing so well already. That said, there is still room for this to grow and I would love to see what happens when it sheds some of its baby fat.
