Saturday, March 2, 2024 - Assessing 2021 Burgundy-La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (Fairmont Miramar, Santa Monica): Dull light red. Mostly wintergreen on the nose. Light earthy feel with some char. Surprising depth of red and blue fruit, acidity gentler, not as crackling as in the Chevrets. Excellent potential, a real step up.
