Tuesday, September 19, 2023 - This is such an interesting wine, particularly on the bouquet where, dare I say, it's delicate and very pretty. That all turns more brutish on the palate, but it's all enveloped in a easy, medium weight (easy to quaff) curiosity of an amalgam of CA sunshine -- something Mission-like, Zin-like and Pinot-like all squashed into one. It certainly kept my interest. I wish there was more of this varietal to try in the realm. If so, I bet Sanlands' version is a benchmark.
