Saturday, March 2, 2024 - Assessing 2021 Burgundy-La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (Fairmont Miramar, Santa Monica): Light ruby. Blueberry and soil. Lovely elegant medium weight. Complex palate of fruit, earth, fine acidity, and refined tannins that reach the gums. Tangy and long, elegant and really fine. This is a few steps ahead of the Chapelle and should have an outstanding future.
