Saturday, April 13, 2024 - Jerome Galeyrand 2021 tasting lunch at Capasso. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of deep red cherry fruit, earth and roots, dark meat. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury dark earth, meatiness, earth and roots, deep dark red cherries, bit of black cherry. Long finish.
Very good quality. Serious Marsannay. Rather delicious. Drinking well already now and should develop nicely over the near term next 2-3 years also.
