Saturday, January 5, 2013 - Beautiful dark California red blend that was pretty closed up coming out of the bottle, even after almost 8 years (a 2005 drank in early 2013). Once decanted we got some characteristically thick, dark berry in the nose and on the palate. We drank it with some just spicy soup with grilled goat cheese, and it cut through both beautifully.
