Thursday, February 2, 2023 - Inky dark. Started with intense black currant fruit, but with time red currant and plum show up. There is underbrush/sage, with tinges of leather and tobacco. Vanilla from oak finishes the wine. This wine is polished. Very impressive. They said wineries that made wine in 2020 (most did not because of the wildfires), made fantastic wine.
