Friday, January 12, 2024 - Really nice, fun, complex CS.
Dark purple-ruby color, but with some clarity - its not overly heavy looking. Nose: up front earthiness with raspberry, cloves and hint of Coke cola. Flavors have a lot of complexity, it moves around over the palate and maintains a good level of acidity and Tannins throughout. Not overly tannic, but they're definitely there. Raspberries and earthy/mushrooms up front, builds to big ripe mixed berries with subtle licorice and even dark chocolate. Finish adds some cedar and rosemary with lingering ripe fruit. Recommend decanting for 30 mins to hour, brings out a bit more heaviness on mouthfeel.
