Sunday, August 27, 2023 - Drank in Sardegna alongside and in daily sequencing of a host of other Sardo wines - with the Sella and Mosca producer performing well with its Torbato Spumante Brut and its vermentino - I picked up this rosso from them - it is quite inexpensive and comes across as same - nothing flawed - just thin and a bit vegetal - perhaps related to underripe cab sauv idk - anyway this is the first wine from Sardegna that has not a hole in its bottom. The known known Argiolas Turriga is a cellar worthy gem along with Terre Brune from Santadi. The vermentini drink like water - refreshing clean with varying levels of ripeness from herbal floral to citrusy to tropical.
