Friday, December 22, 2023 - Had as the day 3 bottle during a Sta Rita Hills binge. Nice dark garnet color which goes with the taste of cherries, strawberries and rasberry. Had just a hint of spice during the long finish. Opened 20 minutes before but it really needed a 60+ minute decant as it opened up nicely for the second glass. It is drinking well right now but as it usually the case with Sea Smoke, 18+ months more in the bottle and it will be truly. Will probably try it again in mid-2025 as have older vintages ahead of it.
