Saturday, September 16, 2023 - A pleasant wine, though quite hollow in the mid-palate -- some soft peachiness upfront, a mineral underlayer, and then nothing. Identifiable as Sauvignon Blanc -- it tastes a bit like some of the northeastern Italian versions, though in the end I guessed that it was Menetou-Salon. It might fill in a bit with age, though I suspect that there are a lot of Sancerres that offer a lot more length for the money.
