Wednesday, January 14, 2015 - chez Bruce, 1st growth, Saint emilion. Rich and lush black fruits, concentrated and dense. perhaps a tad over the top, a bit showy and expecially obvious in the company of more discreet and elegant wines; picture Marilyn Munroe in Some Like it Hot - gello on stilts - and contrast the impeccable and graceful Deborah Kerr in The King and I.
