Thursday, December 21, 2023 - PNP. Baking spices, vanilla, mineral on the nose. On the palate, vibrant red fruit, cinnamon, tar, medium tannins, and just the right amount of acidity. Very youthful, luscious, and accessible out of the gate! 4-6h of air time (slow ox) didn't really improve the wine, the nose never gained more floral (violets/roses) notes and the fruit profile stayed consistent too. Overall, a very enjoyable showing from the Produttori, it bodes well for the '20 Barbaresco vintage! 91 nose/92 palate
