Wednesday, November 1, 2023 - Tasted at Foxen (main winery, along with Pinots) and again at home with pumpkin gnocchi, curry, and egg scramble.
Whiffs of blueberry and blackberry fruit along with noticeable oak after opening. These became well integrated on the second and third days with Cab Franc bell pepper, restrained jammy fruits, and moderate tannins.
There is a little alcoholic heat and prefer to serve on the cooler side.
