Sunday, March 24, 2024 - Delicious. Purchased last September at the winery. Nose was medium low intensity, though once you got your nose in the glass it had nice dark red fruits and a little oak. Palate was actually very plump with lots of primary flavors - red fruit with great purity and a touch of oaky complexity, though not overdone. I definitely got some signature Dundee strawberry notes, maybe some black cherry as well. Tannins/acidity were very integrated, which was surprising considering the label has it at 14% alc. It's super approachable already with a smooth mouthfeel, reminding me of some 2017 burgundies I've had. Great Oregon pinot.
