Tuesday, April 14, 2009 - This Wine to say the least is interesting, changing back and forth from Sweet Fruity, to that Licorice/Molasses/Pumpernickel flavour. Colour: Dark Red with a tinge of Purple. Aroma: The nose is medium intensity but it has this character to almost give you a headache. It has A Molasses / Pumpernickel Bread / Licorice [real stuff btw] on it with a red fruit that has a Artificial / Medicinal Value Crazy I know. Taste:Medium Body, Cherry[check] Licorice, sweet but the acidity balances the acidity, but yet its sweet in a crazy type of way. This wine I say you need to try just for the fact it bounces around would be great for a wine tasting party with people trying to figure it out hah. Decanted for about 1.5hrs in my UFO decanter
