Monday, May 8, 2023 - Black, blue and red fruits, tobacco leaf, flowers, and coffee bean, with a hint of cocoa create the nose. Lively red and black fruits, with hints of chocolate show in the round, full-bodied, deep wine. The lengthy finish is all about its layers of sweet, ripe, dark red berries, energy and chocolately, espresso in the mid-palate and end notes. The wine is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. 14.5% ABV, 3.65. Harvesting took place September 19 - October 5. Yields were 30 hectoliters per hectare. Drink from 2027-2050. 93-95 Pts.
