Friday, June 16, 2023 - (Disgorged in 2022, base year 2017, 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Meunier and 40% Chardonnay , dosage 9 gr/L)
Lovely yellow colour with a youthful nose showing lime juice, yellow stone fruit and chalk in a very nice and pleasant combination. Smoothing palate with yellow apples acidity and showing some lime zest on the mid before seashells and chalky notes takes over on the pleasant and lengthy finish. Very accessible with this base year and better than a couple of predecessors as well..
(Probably best with 0-6 years extra cellaring)
