Monday, August 7, 2006 - (Mis en cave 1998, disgorged 2003.)
Especially nice bottle tonight: More prominent yeast and toast, with crisp apple and pear flavors, hazelnut, and a finish featuring ginger and light baking spices. The finish turned a little tart after about the bottle was open an hour.
