nose: heady, bready and rich; the fruits are not so much identifiable individually as they are melded together into a lemon-streaked caramel compote
palate: sizable weight is its strongest attribute. The fruit is tasty, and the bread notes offer a nice plumpness. There is less complexity than I hoped/expected, and I actually thought the finish was disappointingly short. Hmm. An excellent wine, but not the amazing QPR I anticipated. And yet if that's the worst thing that happens to me today, it's been a pretty awesome day.
