Saturday, February 14, 2015 - First timer on Charles Heidsieck. DISG 2013.
Golden color, lots of fine bubbles, not the fruity/acidic type (either that's not the style or this ain't young), definitely ripe, bready, lemon zest, smokey, slight minerals, medium body, medium finish, ends with an interesting slight bitter note (house style?). Enjoyable
