Wednesday, November 2, 2016 - “Laid in chalk cellars in: 2009”, disgorged in 2014. The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour, with medium-intense, medium fine perlage. It offered lemon, some apple, roasted almond, brioche and some smoke on the nose and palate, with creamy mousse, good, medium-plus acidity and superb length. The medium-bodied, very balanced champagne was rich yet lively and reasonably fresh. A very good champagne with distinct autolysis character. Should age well. I would hold for at least another year. 91+
