Buttery, popcorn, toast, mushroom and peach on the nose. Dry, lemon, citrus on the palette. Bright fresh zesty acidity. No green bitterness, happy about that. Well balanced, structured and put together. But out of all that, its most remarkable attribute is the sea foamy bubbles, ultra fine but ultra foamy on the palette, so much so, that its almost distracting when you pop n pour, but it mellows out with time in the glass. Makes for a fun wine. Great QPR. Disgorged 2017. Cellared in chalk 2011.
-- 2hrs later.... after a couple hours in the open bottle, and on my second try, it seems just a bit to acidic or bright for me, would love if it was just a bit mellower, but if you like structured vibrant champagne, you'd like this.
