Thursday, January 10, 2019 - Four years ago, I first tried Charles Heidsieck and still no Champagne comes close to the quality for given price. It's screaming "drink me, I'm unpretentious af" and has this alluring taste of Cheerios mixed with lemonade and apricot juice. Hints of green apple and lemon candy. Beautiful palate with a superb balance of acidity and alcohol. Delicate mousse that you hardly feel, followed by an awesome aftertaste.
