Friday, January 17, 2020 - We really enjoyed this, first time having it too - disgorged 2017, laid in cellar 2009 (as stated on the back of bottle). The highlight was the nose, featuring rather potent nutty notes of pastry, brioche, and a mix of citrus fruit. You immediately could tell the extended aging of the base and reserve wines. It was less impressive in the mouth (not particularly big or intense), but certainly held its own followed by a long, expressive finish with intriguing cherry and plum notes. Good vale, and will definitely buy again.
