Friday, January 22, 2021 - 2012 base. The nose is pervasive and really savoury and appetising, and gives the sense that the wine is impressive and statuesque, but on the palate there's a tad too much sweetness that distracts on the finish. Some nice touches of creme pat and bread coming through. Like but maybe one to have a glass of rather than for sharing a full bottle with one other person.
