Thursday, February 17, 2022 - 12% alcohol. Mis en crayères 2015, so the base vintage is 2014; disgorged 2019. Pale golden colour; extremely fine bubbles with good persistence.
The nose is engaging with flowery notes developping into a beeswax aspect. Very good balance in the mouth which is quite broad with yellow fruit and just a hint of austerity in the finish; the dosage is just perceptible at times but it never intrudes.
As reliable as NV Champagne gets in my experience.
