Friday, November 10, 2023 - Sthlm Food & Wine Champagne-tastings (Älvsjömässan, Stockholm): (Disgorged in November 2021, 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, dosage 7 gr/l)
Light yellow colour with a greenish hue and a stream of fine bubbles. Fresh bread, hazelnuts and some lime citrus notes in a very pleasant way. Fruitful palate with a softened acidity showing red apples with a refreshing mid to late showing fresh cut grass and some minty notes with a some lime juice bitterness on the finish. Good showing and well drinking, yet missing some of the intensity and feeling of Pol Roger still. Not sure how this will evolve..
