Deep ruby core, narrow pale ruby rim - youthful. Reticent on nose at first (quite cool), then red fruit, gravel, spice. Medium bodied, spicy red fruit, earth, touch of mineral, nice bright acids, good length, earthy, gravelly finish, a touch sandy on the tail. Decent enough.
