Tuesday, June 29, 2021 - From a .375, over two nights (yeah, I know, a half bottle over two nights; I have a bigger buying problem than a drinking problem)
This wine did not show its age, showing more primary Chenin fruit than maturing honey and lanolin. At first blush, I would have guessed Foreau rather than Huet Sec more acidity, and less sweetness and viscosity than Huet Sec from recent decades. It rounded out the second night, more recognizable as Huet Sec (dead oxidized sip left for the third night). All in all, I enjoyed it.
