Tuesday, July 6, 2010 - Very interesting to track this puppy...when opened two nights ago, it was severely shut down...intense fruit peeked out around the corner, but the wine sat idle while others evaporated...the bottle sat out for two days, and I poured a glass tonight...ah, the world is right again. This points to a ridiculously long life ahead for my remaining bottles, which i'll hold off touching for 3-4 years now. Varietally correct mouthfeel, with a rich core of plum, cassis, and slight heat (still) coming on. Long finish with a touch of spice.
