96 Points

Sunday, December 30, 2018 - Gold with orange and amber hue. Quince, brown sugar, oranges and mango. On the palate viscous, the sweetness largely unintegrated, but nicely balanced by refreshing and lingering acids. This is ready to drink, but with more time in the bottle it will possibly shed some of its superficial sweetness. Now it is great to go with a vanilla cream or something like that, or as a dessert in small quantities because of its somehow demanding character. Sadly the cork of this bottle was completely soaked, so maybe it is not the wine that limits the aging potential of these bottles. If the cork keeps being intact, this is going to keep for two more decades. 5/13/18/10 -2038 if perfect storage is provided.
