Sunday, April 14, 2024 - Dark red, purple rim. Closer to syrah than gamay.
on the nose, a whiff of feral/barnyard/animal scent, but mostly red juicy fruits, blackberry, hint of spices.
the tannins are fine, the acidity well balanced. at 12.5% ABV, this is very easy drinking, yet retains some finesse and structure.
good finish.
Next bottle in 2 to 3 years time.
