Saturday, March 16, 2013 - Like nine months ago there is a basis of cedar and dusty gravel on the nose, but this time there is also a lovely complexity of amarena cherries, flowers, leather and a slight nuttiness; mid-palate there is a lovely roundness and sweetness that is balanced well by the rich but finely-grained tannins, has flavours of gingerbread and candied orange; very good length. Fully mature but probably with five more years in hand.
