Tuesday, July 19, 2022 - At Boston Wine & Poker, Needham, July 17, 2022: (Tasted blind) In a pair with a much younger Ponzi Reserve (2017). By contrast, this was a bit cloudier, much oakier, more obviously aged. The flavors were a bit hollow in the mid-palate. It has a slight cola note that I associate with California pinot noirs. Eminently drinkable, but I preferred its lithe Oregonian partner.
