Saturday, June 30, 2012 - Decanted 90 mins....got better along the way. Ripe fruit aromas with touch of leather. pours medium deep garnet. Palate is multilayered. Opens with tight ripe fruit that slowly flowers open to dusty plum and touch of leather. Great integrated tannins....delicate yet present. Lingering finish. Paired great with steak and veg with sage butter sauce.
