Friday, January 26, 2024 - Cavallotto Tasting at Biondivino (Biondivino, San Francisco): Oh, this was a very good Nebbiolo. Alfio Cavallotto called it a real baby Barolo, and he wasn't exaggerating. Clear Nebbiolo nose, floral and red fruited, well balanced palate with some structure. Tart and bright with good vibrancy. Good now, also a possible mid-term ager.
