Saturday, April 9, 2011 - Bought as futures and 3rd bottle drunk from my cellar, each about 2 years apart. Popped and poured. More red fruit and less floral than prior bottles. Plum and cherry with floral notes on the nose. No sign of maturity and still purple plum in color. No tannin, delicious now and seems ready to drink, although still a long life ahead. Plum, cherry, earth and minerals with fruit dominant. Good finish. Went well with venison and red wine sauce.
