After an hour. lovely, but not expansive nose emerged of flowers and plum. Palate, at first, closed consisting of earth, charcoal and cassis. With time, more fruit with added notes of cherry and plum. No tannin and dark purple in color. Nice, but I expected more from this wine. Maybe with time, and at a minimum, with a several hour decant.
