Sunday, May 17, 2015 - Last tasted just over four years ago. Still a dark ruby colored body, with a reddish hue consistent with a maturing wine. Certainly in a matured state now. Similar aromas and flavors from when last tasted: strawberry, cherry, cola, tree bark, a hint of thyme and balanced but not over whelming vanillin. Rich and intense fruit. Soft and velvety. Well balanced. A long and lingering finish. A great pairing with prime rib-eye. Probably time to drink up soon.
