Blackberry, blueberry and licorice flavor with a little pepper in the long finish. Fresh and delicious. Power rather than finesse." The only difference in the taste this time around is a touch of salinity in the finish. The last bottle overpowered a grilled steak. Tonight it matched well with a deluxe pizza. I know, it's a little pricey for a pizza wine but it works.
