Tuesday, July 7, 2009 - i enjoyed this wine. tasted against the 06 kb rrv. this bottle was a cherry, cinnamon fest. racy and zippy compared to the rrv. the cherries were present start to finsh here. cinnamon and other spice also. acid backbone readily apparent and perhaps a tad too much. finish was, no surprise, full of cherries and acid zip. this worked well with the food as it cut some of the acid and zip.
