Thursday, November 16, 2023 - I find it lush, inky and fruit forward. Dark berries, there is a bit of white pepper. They utilize some Viognier to bring out floral notes in the wine. They age 12 months in Punchon casks, as well as French and American oak. Some of that oak spice definitely comes through, on the nose and the palate. and a nice backbone of tannins, It takes a second to open, but it is a 2021. Great wine for the price!
