Thursday, April 25, 2024 - Pretty good for a Canuck red wine. Not certain how they achieved 14.8% abv, but it's quite good, and it's a reasonable $47 CAD.
Likely a couple of years in a cellar for softening, or an hour decant would be beneficial. But, not really necessary, as the only benefit will be to soften the tannins, but enhanced characteristics? I'm thinking not.

A single vineyard located in Naramata.
Almost desert conditions, sndy soil, hot in summer days and cooler nights.

A gift from a friend.
It's nice and as much as I'd like to support the Canadian economy, I'll be buying a $47 Merlot from California, Washington State, Bordeaux.
A far better QPR.

PS Drink The Rainbow!
