Wednesday, November 29, 2023 - Very tasty, especially for $20 which is quite low now for the region. A little less complete than the last vintage I tried ('18) but still very present with bright raspberry, a touch of smoky, peppery herbs (not smoke taint, just a gentle nuance), and crisp, occasionally tart acidity. It's lifted and expressive, with a slight hardness to it that demands food. Definitely gets an extra point for value; it wouldn't do well against many $30 OR Pinots, but it does absolutely fine in its $20 range. Slightly more precise and focused than Broadley, in the same range; but also a bit tougher without a food pairing.
