Sunday, January 15, 2006 - Opened a 375 to go with lamp chops, and it was rocking right out of the bottle. Great notes of dark, concetrated fruit and earth with minerals and a hint of lead pencil. Tannins are quite smooth and overshadowed by fruit, though they do become a bit more pronounced with air. Long, smooth finish. I should have bought more of this before it jumped so much in price!
