Thursday, May 31, 2012 - Opened bottle ~8 hours prior to decant. Another 4 hours before enjoying 2 medium sized glasses over 1.5 hours. Exuberant nose of clean dark fruit, a mineral note definitely detectable. Cassis and black berry with strong but pleasant cedar on the palate with rock/mineral on the finish followed by a return of the cedar but more cigar box as well as earth. Terrific balance. Finish is long. Delicious.
