Saturday, August 17, 2013 - Very deep color. A little muted, showing generic red fruits and tobacco. Lots of juicy acidity, firmish tannins, and alcohol that came into reasonable balance with air. Very long, sweet, fruity finish. This needs perhaps 5 more years to shed some structure, and may mature into an excellent wine, although a slightly green undertone may grow bothersome. Recommend a decant of 6 hours or longer if drinking now. 13% abv
