Friday, April 25, 2014 - Unversity Club selection. This bottle was tighter then previous experiences. Nose portrayed more green and hard cellar elements, slowly blowing off to reveal classic black fruit, tobacco, herb and earth. Palate is extremely structured and layered. Green pepper, young fruit, tobacco dried and some spices. Not my best wine but nonetheless will be a stunner over time.
